Dr.
Faris Badi’i -
was born in Tehran, Iran. During the nine
year plan, due to encouragement of the Hands
of the Cause of God (Mr. Sears in particular)
moved to Tabriz and attended the engineering
school. After receiving his B.S. degree in
Electrical Engineering, he moved to the United
States where he received his Masters and Ph.D.
degrees from Southern Methodist University,
he then moved to Portland Oregon and served
as a professor of Electrical Engineering at
Portland State University. As a youth, Dr.
Badi’i had the privilege of attending classes
of many famous Baha’i scholars such as Mr.
Rezvani. Mr. Avar, Dr. Davoodi, Dr. Ghadimi
and Dr. Hosayni.
Mr.
David Smith - is Auxilary Board member
for Protection and will speak on "The Baha'i
Faith and Our Ever Changing Culture."
Mr.
Kambiz Rafraf - Auxilary Board Member for Teaching, will make a presentation entitled
:,"Three participants in the Plan: the individual,
the institutions and the community."

Raymond Waight - Pioneered to Former
Soviet Republics for 4 years Served as Secretary
of the NSA of Belize Served as member of
the first NSA of Moldova Served as the first
ABM for Moldova Served as Auxiliary Board
for Texas Currently serving as Regional
Training Institute Coordinator Degree in
Journalism from Sam Houston State University
The theme for his workshop at this year's
School will be "Teaching and the Process
of Entry by Troops" .
Dr.
Anne Gordon Perry -
holds a PhD in Aesthetic Studies, teaches
writing and humanities at the Art Institute
of Dallas, and has recently presented a
version of her talk / workshop at the Wings
to the Spirit conference in Florida, the
writers' retreat at Desert Rose, the writers'
workshop at Green Acre, and the Sylvan Lake
Baha'i School in Canada.
Trey Yancy - Homefront and International Pioneer, developer of teaching materials, speaker at various Baha'i Schools and Conferences in the U. S.,Africa, and the U.K.will serve as Youth Coordinator for the school.
Aniela Costello - is a licensed Homeopathic Practioner(LHP) and has been in a clinical practice for 19 years specializing in the family dynamic she is certified as a Life Coach and Virtues Project Facilitator. Aniela works with non-profit organizations merging spiritual principles with practical applications.Her areas of interest arefacilitating workshops entitled "Honoring the Teenage Spirit" and "The Spiritual Parent" and by far capitalizing upon the excitement and momentum of her learnings from the Book 5. "Releasing the Power of Junior Youth" has only enriched these secular classes. Aniela serves various institutions of the Faith, has been blessed with 23 years of marriage and is the mother of five incredible Baha'i Men.
Sanaz Karami - is our coordinator for Junior Youth she brings a great deal of enthusiasm and almost two years of teaching experience. Sanaz particularly enjoys incorporating the arts into her teaching and providing this as a means of greater expression in the process of learning. Her goal is to better prepare Junior Youth to serve the Cause of God in the Five Year Plan.
